Hailing from San Juan, Puerto Rico, Alejandro immigrated to Canada in 1987 to train at the National Ballet School of Canada in Toronto. For the past 20 years now, Alejandro has been a Soloist, Principal Dancer and Guest Artist with some of the most critically acclaimed dance companies in the world, including Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, Mannheim Ballett under the directorship of Kevin O’Day, William Forsythe’s Ballett Frankfurt and Nacho Duato’s Compania Nacional de Danza in Madrid, Spain.
In July 2007, Alejandro left Compania Nacional de Danza to study at the Oxford School of Drama. He is now an actor, filmmaker and freelance dancer working in Canada, Spain and the United Kingdom.
