Jim Donovan’s latest outing was the harrowing 3 saisons which made the official selection of the Festival du Nouveau Cinéma, the Mostra de Cinema de Sao Paolo as well as the Whistler Film Festival, where the film was awarded best new Canadian feature and best actress for Carinne Leduc. Jim also directed the film Pure, which travelled as far as Brazil. He has directed the TV hits Instant Star and Naked Josh, which earned him a nomination for best direction in a comedy series at the Gemini Awards.

Jim’s work was once again nominated. This time, it’s his 3 Saisons that garnered 3 nominations for best editing, best actress and best film at the 2010 Genie Awards.

Jim wrapped an episode of Flashpoint to air in September 2011 on CTV and CBS.
